Female Labrador  3 1/2 yr old chocolate bitch, not spayed, needs vacs, microchipped. Sasha is a super young bitch, great with children and other dogs. She is quite bouncy when you first meet her, but soon settles and loves nothing better than to lay at your feet and be stroked or cuddled. She does mouth a bit, but oh so gentle, with a toy to bring to you she's fine. Sasha will make a wonderful addition to any family.
This dog is in the Herts, Beds, Bucks, Part Essex, Cambs, London and Northants area and is an example of the many dogs that come into our care.  If you wish to offer a home for a dog please contact your local Area Co-Ordinator to start the process rolling on adoption.  Thanks for taking the time to look at our site.  Contacts

Male Labrador  This is Barney.  He is 1 year old and is a yellow Labrador Cross.  Unfortunately he was found straying in a large park and never claimed and was saved from being PTS. He is a Labrador sized chap who is very friendly and steady with good manners. Unfortunately this poor lad has a sore leg but if you can give this lovely boy a loving home then please contact us.  He is castrated and is good with other dogs

Male Labrador  Bailey is a  handsome 7 year old yellow castrated dog. He is fully vaccinated and  housetrained. When it comes to people Bailey is well behaved and has a temperament second to none, he is excellent  with children of all ages. However, Bailey does not get on very well with other dogs.

Bailey is currently at kennels in Nottingham where he can be viewed there

The type of home we are looking for would be with someone at home most of the day, with or without children  and where Bailey would be the only dog.

If you are able to offer Bailey a home and would like more information about him please contact  Christine Bailiss TEL 01455 821775  Email lrseccoord@aol.com

Male Labrador  Hello, my name is Patch and I am a very handsome 10 year old boy.  I have not had the best of lives, having been banished to live in a garden kennel in 2004 when my ‘owner’ took on a new family.  My life was very secluded, and I was not walked and socialised.

Labrador Rescue South East & Central have tried to help me and I was initially placed in a kennel, and then a foster home for assessment.

Patch is a mischievous engaging dog who loves attention, and being brushed.  He is clean in the house and is quite happy to be left to sleep.  He is a bit arthritic so only needs short lead walks, which he enjoys.  Having been left to his own devices he does like his own way, and might grumble if he is asked to give up a favourite item. He is dominant with other dogs, and we therefore need an experienced home, with a strong confident person who understands, and could deal with him.  Therefore no other dogs, children or cats

Patch deserves the chance to be part of a family, and if you think you could give him a home please contact us for more details.

Patch is in the Essex area, so please speak to your local Co-ordinator or David Cooper  Tel. 01621 891860

Male Labrador  I am approx 8 years old, I am a lively boy for my age so therefore would suit a home where there was older children of 12 years +.  I am, what they call, a typical working type Labrador and very fit for my age.  I have lived with a cat but did enjoying chasing it and having a game.  The type of home I am looking for is a home where I am the only dog and someone at home during the day as I love lots of attention

Male Labrador  A lovely pup, very bouncy and overweight. He comes from working lines, hence his hyper behaviour. He broke his leg just before Christmas and it is pinned in two places. He has recovered well and signed off by the vet. He has no limp and uses the leg normally. I have looked at it very carefully, and can see nothing untoward in his use of it. I would anticipate it causing him no trouble, although obviously arthritis may be  a problem in old age. He is exercised fully with their other dog; he will need ongoing training . He will need an active home due to his lineage. Observing him I could tell he is a very intelligent dog who likes to be on the go and occupied.
He has not lived with children as the owners children are grown up. He behaves well around children, although slightly wary of very small ones, purely as he has had no contact with them.  Would suit a home where he is the only dog due to his leg but would be suitable for an older bitch who could tolerate his boisterous

Male Labrador
6 year old chocolate dog.  Castrated and microchipped.  Has not lived with children so a home with older children would be ideal.  Has lived with cats but does have a tendency to chase them.  Quite obedient.  Does pull on the lead

This lovely lad came into us with his brother.  Unfortunately they were quite a handful and were extremely boisterous.  We have decided to rehome them seperately.  Since being in kennels just before Christmas they have calmed down quite considerably and are currently housed with a couple of our bitches.  We would prefer a home where there is another dog, purely for the companionship.  He will need further training and will require a home with experience.
