As in the case with today's modern society,
science is helping to give dogs of all shapes and sizes, longer and healthier lives.
And certainly Labradors are no
exception to this trend. However, we at LRSEC are noticing that there are increasing numbers of
older Labradors that are in need of rehoming.
So, we are looking for those extra special homes with
outstanding individuals to care for our oldies, that range from 9 years upwards.
It
may be for their last few months, but it could also be for a few years. Generally, the older dogs give
lots of love and affection with some not needing a lot of excercise. They just need
a kind loving home. If you think you can be this special home then please
complete the form below and we'll get straight back to you.
Thanks.

Male Labrador Mac is
a 12yr old intact black boy, currently living in kennels, who is looking for a
home out of the winter weather. He has for the last year or so spent long days by
himself where, out of boredom, he has been chewing his back legs causing himself
skin irritation and discomfort. He does have a bit of arthritis, but this and
the skin problems are responding to medication.|Mac is quite a character, fond
of the bitches in the kennel, and likes to go where he wants to when on the
lead. He’s very people friendly, and is reported to get on well with older
children. If you are interested in finding out more about this lovely old boy,
